About me

I'm a retired school teacher. I have raised German Shepherds for over forty years.

My first registered German Shepherd was Honeyhill's Gladys UD, OFA, a long haired black and tan German Shepherd.  She trained me well !   We did accomplish the UD title and played in tracking.  At eleven years old she was still very active and could jump the full height  jumps in competition.  She had one litter of pups  in her life time and my dogs today can be traced back to her.  I am probably very prejudice, but no dog has ever measured up to her pranks or achievements.

I have titled several other dogs and   been training director for our local kennel club, also 4-H trainer for several years. The dog world is a large place, and you never learn it all.  It   always humbles me and makes me feel like a beginner  every day.

Jazz is sitting on her tail because a bk&tan owner came by
and stepped on her tail while we were waiting in line to get
our picture. She was taking no chances if that mean guy came back.
